Today, we sit down with William E. Noland, author of Playing With Fire, the first book in the “Uncommon Bonds” urban fantasy/paranormal suspense series.
Bill, thanks for joining me today on A Writer’s Block. Tell our readers a little bit about yourself.
BILL: I was born in New York City, but raised in Amherst, Massachusetts, where my dad was an English professor at the University of Massachusetts. I now live with my wife in Quincy, Massachusetts, just south of Boston. I got my undergraduate degree in psychology from UMass, and got my MBA from Vanderbilt University. I worked in human resources and financial services, and am lucky to be in a position to have retired early.
Though I’ve dabbled in writing in the past, I only got serious about it when the pandemic shut everything down. Since April of 2020, I’ve written four novels, and have one currently in the works.
