Today we will finally draw to a close our four-part series on how to end a novel. Seems I had trouble finding the right way to end this series.
In Part 1 of this four-part series, we looked at the organizational elements of your novel’s ending. In Part 2, we discussed the goal of creating an ending that is satisfying for readers. Last week, in Part 3, we looked at ways to make your ending memorable — make it stick in readers’ minds long after they’ve closed the book.
Here, in Part the Last, we’ll dive into five different types of endings you can choose from. And guess what? There are probably more than five, but these are the most common.
